Paws to Read!
Wag your tails and stomp your paws for this animal extravaganza! It’s fun for all ages and easy to join. Anyone who attends at least three events in their age group will be entered into a grand prize drawing. To sign up, go to the Summer Reading Program table under the red umbrella.

“PAWS TO GIVE” KICKOFF: June 14-August 1
Kick off the Summer Reading Program through giving. Animal shelters provide so many loving pets with shelter, food and care and all rely on generous donations from people like you to be able to keep providing in the future. Be a part! Donate items like dog food, cat food, and kitty litter, throw blankets, chew toys and more. The Covina Public Library will deliver all items to a local animal shelter in need. ADOPT-A-PET DAY: Saturday, August 2, 11 am-3 pm
End the Summer Reading Program with heart! A local animal shelter will be visiting the Covina Public Library with many pets in need of loving homes. Can you or anyone you know provide a forever home to an animal in need?

Think you know a lot about teen fiction and the Covina Public Library? Come test your knowledge with our trivia game. Those who get all answers correct will get a special prize!

Draw, paint, take a photo or submit any animal-themed art work. Winners will be displayed the following week.
BOOK BUDDY TIME – CALLING ALL VOLUNTEENS! Thursday, July 24, 1:30-2:30 pm
Need Community Service hours? Want to help kids improve their literacy skills? Come help by giving kids the opportunity to read aloud to someone. Reading aloud is one of the most effective ways to improve a child’s reading accuracy and fluency, giving them the literacy skills they need for a bright future! Preregistration required.
