|ILLEGAL DUMPING IS DANGEROUS (AND ILLEGAL)!|
Illegal dumping is the discarding of any household trash, bulky items, yard trimmings, medical waste, dead animals, oil, construction materials, or hazardous materials in a place that is NOT PERMITTED to dispose of these materials. It is also a careless, dangerous act that jeopardizes the health and safety of people, animals, and the environment.
It is unlawful for any person to illegally dispose of any trash, bulky item, or liquid waste upon or in any public/private street, alley or other public/private place, or upon any public/private premises in the City. Failure to comply constitutes a misdemeanor per Section 8.08.070 of the Covina Municipal Code.
Let’s all do our part to protect our environment and community. To report illegal dumping in Covina, please call the Environmental Services Division at (626) 384-5480 or the Police Department at (626) 331-3391.
