About Saffron Covina
Saffron Covina is a 6-story residential building located at 19516 E. Cypress Avenue in unincorporated Los Angeles County. Saffron’s website states that the development will comprise 94 rental units, of which 48 will be reserved for income-qualified individuals and families and 45 will be supportive housing units available for people who are experiencing homelessness. Though the City of Covina has no jurisdiction over projects within unincorporated Los Angeles County, we recognize that many of our valued residents, business owners, and customers live, work and enjoy amenities in close proximity to the proposed project and as such have voiced concerns regarding the project to the City.
